History/Background Information: A superbly struck gold dinar struck during the Islamic Umayyad Caliphate (661-750AD). Most probably struck at the Damascus Mint.

Certification: NGC MS62 (Choice Unc/MS)

Condition Notes: Superbly struck and brightly presented. Fully uncirculated and very rare as such as most of these pieces were intended for trade. Beautiful lustre uninterrupted by it's 1400 year age. A rare find.
