History/Background Information: A scarce 1/2 Pond struck for the ZAR in the year 1892. Double Shaft wagon variety with "os" initials on Kruger's bust. Short lived series issued between 1892 and 1897. Struck to the same specifications as the British Half Sovereign.

Condition Notes: An exceptional coin with honey gold coloration, smooth surfaces and unblemished detailing. On the cusp of gem designation.
