History/Background Information: A scarce series issued between 1892 and 1897 with this being the first year of strike. Struck in Berlin for the ZAR. 


Certification: NGC MS64 (Near Gem Unc/MS)


Condition Notes: A near gem uncirculated specimen, gracefully toned in a wide variety of colors. Full hourglass lustre apparent complimented with significant mint bloom. As struck. A very rare opportunity to acquire an advanced mint state example of this type.
