History/Background Information: A scarce series issued between 1892 and 1897. Struck at the ZAR mint in Pretoria.

Condition Notes: A superbly preserved coin, exhibiting proof/prooflike qualities. I am of the opinion that this coin is proof. Mirror devices radiate under uniform toning presented in a myriad of colors when illuminated. Details are much sharper than the usual business strikes. A rare coin.
