History/Background Information: First year of issue in the ZAR Ponde series struck between 1892 - 1902. This been the more common of the two 1892 varieties depicting the "incorrect" European wagon (with double shafts) on the reverse and the engraver's initials "O.S" on the bust of Kruger.


Certification: PCGS MS62 (Choice Uncirculated/MS) - Certification #34056598


Condition Notes: A rare coin in high grade and generally not often seen in the market place. Strikingly bold appearance with a sharp strike, cascading lustre and a strong prooflike finish suggesting that this coin could have been in the first few struck. A premium piece.
