History/Background Information: A scarce series issued between 1892 and 1897. Struck at the ZAR mint in Pretoria. This being the key date in the series.

Condition Notes: A choice example of the very scarce 1893 shilling. Attractively toned and exhibiting minimal wear for the grade along with strong lustre. Very few surviving in this state of preservation with the grading population shrinking significantly above this point.
