History/Background Information: A scarce series issued between 1892 and 1897. Struck at the ZAR mint in Pretoria.

Condition Notes: A choice example of the scarce 1895 tickey. Attractively toned, exhibiting minimal wear and strong lustre for the grade. Very few surviving in this state of preservation with the grading population shrinking significantly above this point.
