History/Background Information: A scarce series issued between 1892 and 1897. Struck at the ZAR mint in Pretoria.

Condition Notes: A wonderful specimen, seldom seen in this state of preservation. A lustrous shimmer gleams from under a blanket of old time cabinet toning. Fields free from any significant distraction. Very scarce in such lofty grade.
