History/Background Information: One Shilling series of George V struck between 1923 - 1936 in the Union of SA.
Certification: NGC MS62 (Choice Unc/MS)
Condition Notes: Perhaps the scarcest issue of the series behind the 1931 issue. Very seldom found in high grade and even less so in uncirculated or mint state form. The specimen on offer is wholly original, graced with magnificent toning over blissfully smooth and lustrous surfaces. A very rare find.
Mintage: 488 455
POP Statistics: 3 in MS62 with only 9 coins better (NGC Stats)
