History/Background Information: George V sixpence series struck between 1923 - 1936 in the Union of SA. 

Certification: NGC AU53 (Choice About Uncirculated) - 1 of only 2 graded in AU.

Condition Notes: A monumental offering of this rare date. To date only 6 coins have been certified in AU or better grades making this coin one of a handful known specimens in appreciable quality. Whilst officially there were a few thousand minted, it is quite obvious that not many coins have survived and even fewer in problem free quality. This particular coin exhibits noticeable wear but strong detailing typical of its grade.
