History/Background Information: A full short proof set consisting of the 1945 specimen issues of the 1/4D through to the 2.5 Shillings. Part of the KGVI issues of the Union of SA struck between 1937 and 1952.

Certification: Ungraded in original box of issue.

Condition Notes: A rare short proof set of which only 150 sets were issued. Each coin immaculately preserved and beautifully crafted. The coppers are a rich chocolate brown whilst the silvers are gently toned with full mirrored surfaces. An exceptional find and coupled with it's original mint case.
