History/Background Information: 2 Shilling series of George VI struck between 1937 - 1952 in the Union of SA.

Condition Notes: A rare low mintage issue. Near gem uncirculated with sparkling lustre. Lightly toned over the devices and peripheries resulting in a most charming appearance. Seldom found better and a scarce opportunity to acquire one of the low mintage florins. Pedigreed to the world famous Bakewell Collection.
