History/Background Information: Beautiful unissued 5 shillings remainder of the Cape Of Good Hope Bank which was given permission to conduct banking operations sometime in the early 1820's. Undated, unsigned and not numbered as this remainder was never issued.
 
Condition Notes: A beautifully designed and produced paper note issue. All details including motifs and vignette still clearly legible and boldly presented. A rare find.
