History/Background Information: 10 Pound Pretoria issue of the ZAR government (Gouvernements Noot). Issued against the security of state owned farms with a 6% interest. Hand signed by the Auditor General (JS Marais) and Treasurer General (NS Malherbe). Dated 28.5.1900.
 
Condition Notes: Variety with spade border and without "NO" in the serial number (Model 3). An impressive example. Retaining all the bold characteristics of the type. Containing the "Colony of Cape of Good Hope" watermark. A beautiful note with an incredible history.
