History/Background Information: 10 Pound Pretoria issue of the ZAR government (Gouvernements Noot). Issued against the security of state owned farms with a 6% interest. Hand signed by the Auditor General (JS Marais) and Treasurer General (NS Malherbe). Dated 28.5.1900.

Condition Notes: Variety with spade border and without "NO" in the serial number. An impressive example, untoched and crisp. Retaining all the bold characteristics of the type and reflected in it's uncirculated 63 grading. A beautiful note with an incredible history.
