History/Background Information: Rare Five Rand replacement note issue of the South African Reserve Bank. Not dated but issued in 1989 (XX serial number). Printed by the South African Banknote Co.
 
Condition Notes: An exceptionally rare find. Printed in very small numbers to serve as replacement notes. Fully uncirculated with crisp paper and beautiful colour. Edges as sharp as the day it was printed. This is the only note that has been on sale publicly in the last 10 years to my knowledge.
