Auction News: Rare South African Banknotes Shine Once Again On The International Market

An astounding selection of 20 highly-rare and collectable South African banknotes featured at the recent Heritage Auctions World Paper Money Signature Auction held in Dallas, Texas. Amongst the lots are possibly unique notes some of which have not been offered for sale in decades. Overall these 20 notes brought in a total of $87,300 which equates to approx R1,623,000, highlighting the continuing strong demand for the rarest pieces of South African currency.
